Founding Edition

The Founding Edition is not a separate plan, but an introductory offer for Skald Desktop: 99 € instead of 129 € incl. VAT, limited to the first 100 purchases. No lifetime updates, no different entitlements — technically it remains a normal Skald Desktop license.

Endpoint compatibility

BYO currently means Azure: for Speech/transcription, Skald is designed for an Azure Speech Endpoint. For Polish, an Azure Polish Endpoint is used with a compatible Azure OpenAI deployment. Other providers or incompatible endpoint formats are not intended as supported processing routes.
